PhD in Biology and associated researcher in the Department of Marine Biology and Oceanography at the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC) in Barcelona (Spain). She specialises in marine microalgae ecology, harmful algal blooms, environmental directives, and the relationship between science and society and science dissemination. She is particularly interested in understanding how human activities affect nature and vice versa.
