Readers Call «La Vanguardia» for more Scientific Rigour

la-vanguardia

The ACCC (Catalan Association for Science Communication), the AECC (Spanish Association for Science Communication) and the ARP-SAPC (Society for the Advance of Critical Thought), have sent a new letter to La Vanguardia’s press ombudsman, Josep Rovirosa, to demand that scientific rigour is applied to all the contents included in the newspaper: «It is not consistent to take scientific rigour into account for some sections in the newspaper and disregard it in others. For instance, would historical mistakes be acceptable in any section other than the cultural one? Probably not» said in their letter.
