José D. Edelstein and Andrés Gomberoff have been awarded in the II FECYT Science Communication Contest for their article «Antimatter, magic and poetry», published in Mètode’s 70th issue. Its authors have been awarded within the Written Press category of the contest organised by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology.

The awarded article explains the search for beauty through science in the works of the British physicist Paul Dirac. Its authors had already been granted another award in the I CPAN (Spanish National Centre for Particle, Astroparticle and Nuclear Physics) Popular Science Contest in 2012.

FECYT is a public institution launched in 2001 to promote science and innovation, supported by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. This contest intends to promote popular science communication and to this purpose they make a selection of the most relevant articles published in this area, as well as of those that have been more effective in getting society closer to science.
