Science outreach, medical communication and the popularizer scientist, three points of view with representation on the panel «The Science of the Press: Trends and Challenges for Popular Science Journalism», that took place yesterday evening in the UIMP Valencia centre. This act for the presentation of issue 80 of Mètode had interventions by José Pío Beltrán, professor of CSIC and new president of the European Plant Science Organization, Jaime Prats, journalist in El País, and Miquel Calvet,chief of communication of the Centre for Biomedical Network Research on Rare Diseases (CIBERER). Agustín Domingo Moratalla, director of the UIMP in Valencia, opened the act, and Marti Dominguez, director of Mètode, acted as moderator of a panel to continue the task of building bridges between the two cultures, humanism and science.
