Professor of the Department of Agricultural Sciences at the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló (Spain) and coordinator of the Laboratory of Ecophysiology and Biotechnology (UJI). He did his PhD at the Institut Valencià d'Investigacions Agràries, in Montcada (Spain), and a postdoctoral stay at Washington University in St. Louis, MO (USA).
