IRTA-UAB Mixed Research Unit in Animal Health and IRTA Animal Health Programme at CReSA (Animal Health Research Center), Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain). She has a PhD in Animal Medicine and Health and worked as a postdoc researcher at the Marburg Institute of Virology (Germany). Since 2020 she has been a member of the WHO's working group on animal models of Covid-19. She is also a member of the Horizon Group, created by the Regional Government of Catalonia to advise on R&D&I strategies.
