Gemma Mestre-Bach
Graduate in Psychology from the University of Barcelona with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and in Sexual and Couple Therapy from the European Foundation, a master’s degree in Third Generation Therapies from the Valencian International University, and a master’s degree in Criminological and Victimological Intervention from the Miguel Hernández University. She has a PhD in Medicine and Translational Research from the University of Barcelona and is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the International University of La Rioja (Spain).

Interest in gambling disorder (pathological gambling) has been growing in both the clinical and scientific community. This has permitted a better understanding of the pathology and the design of potential therapeutic options.
