Scott C. Ratzan: «Health communication does not consist only in designing a web or writing a blog»

Taking advantage of his presence at the seminar Communicating Health: opportunities and challenges in health communication, which took place at the Menéndez Pelayo International University headquarters in Valencia, we interviewed Scott. C. Ratzan. He has a PHD in Medicine and a Masters in Public Administration. He works as a lecturer in the Department of Sociomedical Sciences at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University, and he is also the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Health Communication: International Perspectives, as well as Vice President of Global Corporate Affairs at ABInBev in New York. We talked with him about health literacy, the role played by media, health and new technologies relations and future challenges for health communication.
