Jordi de Manuel, professor, biologist and writer, will present the conference entitled «Science, Fiction and Literature» on Wednesday 12 March, at 19 h. in the Centre for Contemporary Culture Octubre in Valencia (C/Ferran, 12). Jordi de Manuel is, together with Salvador Macip, editor of the monograph Científics lletraferits, recently published by Mètode. The book collects twenty tales written by prominent figures from Catalan literature with a scientific or technologic background: Marià Alemany, Sílvia Aymerich, Miquel Barceló, Daniel Closa, Anna Crusafont, Carles M. Cuadras, Martí Domínguez, Xavier Duran, Rosa Fabregat, Jordi Font-Agustí, Teresa Franquesa, Isidre Grau, Amàlia Lafuente, Salvador Macip, Jordi de Manuel, Joan Marcé, Miquel de Palol, Pere Puigdomènech, Carme Torras y Carles Zafon.
