PhD in Biology from the University of Valencia. His doctoral thesis was devoted to the study of the adaptations of Valencian vegetation to the Mediterranean climate. He has been a deputy in the Corts Valencianes (2003-2007) and general affairs advisor of the Conselleria de Agricultura y Medio Ambiente of the Generalitat Valenciana (2015-2016).
