Professor in the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at the University of Valencia (Spain) and the current director of the journal Revista de la Asociación de Sociología de la Educación. She researches educational careers, social and educational inequality, and transformations in universities. She is the mother of two girls and a boy.
